Golf is a sport in the Island Games. It was first played at the 1991 Island Games in Åland and has been included at every edition ever since, except the 1995 Island Games in Gibraltar.

It consists of men and women's individual and team events. Before 1997, only men competed in golf, until women were allowed to compete for the first time at the 1997 Island Games in Jersey.

Men'sEdit

The best performing golfers in the Men's individual event are Robert Eggo and Kevin Moore who have won two gold medals apiece. The current individual men's champion is Alex McAuley from the Isle of Man.

The most successful island in the Men's team event is the Isle of Man who have won four titles. The current team men's champion is the Isle of Man.

Women'sEdit

The best performing golfers in the Women's individual event are Anna-Karin Salmén and Laura Robinson who have won two gold medals apiece. The current individual women's champion is Emma Lindman from Åland.

The most successful island in the Women's team event is Jersey who have won three titles. The current team women's champion is Gotland.
